We have a number of different resources here at Assumption. We really believe in that one on one individual approach. So sitting down and working with students to learn a little bit about who they are, what they're looking to do, where they want to go. From there, we can kind of take it in a lot of different directions. Assumption puts forward a number of initiatives to make sure our students succeed. We have a division that's devoted to student success that has the offices of academic support, accessibility services, International Student Center, the Cross Cultural Center, and the Career Development and Internship center. The divisions focus, not only on students coming in, but also on how they persevered through their time here and in graduation. And so we were looking at the holistic students and making sure that they persist here. Through their time. We work very closely with Student Affairs, which is crucial for students lifecycle here as well as enrollment management. We really work with students across all four years, it's really about having students explore. So coming in to the Career Center, early and often, and having those conversations to learn a little bit more about choosing a major-- choosing a minor, potential career paths. And then also using you know, the four years as an exploratory time to do not just one internship but multiple internship opportunities. Take part in experiential learning, do informational interviews and job shadows, you know, going out in networking. Really doing a lot to try to explore, so at the end of the four years, you do have that confidence and that next step. When they talk about their time here, alumni tell me that they didn't necessarily figure out what they wanted to do right away. But the program's equip them, so that even after they've left Assumption, they can still make decisions based on whether career, or different things that they needed to do in life based on the foundation they receive here.
