Being from Worcester, one thing that I've noticed every time I stepped foot at Assumption, I feel like I'm not in Worcester. I feel like I'm in like my own area. It's just a different experience than just commuting or anything of that nature, being able to just see the campus throughout the day. Living on campus is probably the biggest part of college life. You get to learn new things and just make new friendships. There's a good community to support each students from different backgrounds. There's resources to help the students that are struggling. Having all the dorms so close together, it's so easy to go to your friends. You just take a little walk and you're right at your friend's doorstep which is wicked nice. We have two different dining halls here. We have our Taylor Dining Hall, which is our traditional buffet style. And then you also have our Chuck's or Charlie's Dining hall area, where you use dining dollars and you go there to have meals there as well. That's open pretty late. So whenever you're hungry, you can go there. Living on campus definitely was one of the best decisions I made. Getting to explore campus, there's such a nice feel of it because you're in the city but you're just far enough away outside of the city that its own little feel. And then going into the city with your friends exploring all new restaurants, and just like little places to hang out is amazing.
